Just because you're not part of the 79% doesn't mean you can't be a tea party follower or advocate.
Also, it would be helpful if you are asking a question such as "am i small minded", which i assume is a question, to use a question mark at the end of the sentence.
And I'm curious as to who you think "someone with authority on small minded people " might be.
The fact that 79% of the tea partiers are white, doesnt make it a racist group...

If there is a group, that minorities dont join, its not the groups fault, unless they are excluded.

i never said it was a racist group. i quoted the 79% white statistic to confirm that the majority was white but that statistic certainly leaves room for minorities ( you have described yourself as being non-white ) to be a part of it.

Scott Walker has been doing a GREAT job cutting taxpayers' costs in Wisconsin! That's why we now see headlines like these:

Union curbs rescue a Wisconsin school district | Byron York | Politics | Washington Examiner (http://washingtonexaminer.com/politics/2011/06/union-curbs-rescue-wisconsin-school-district - broken link)
New insurance plan will save school district $1 million plus | Hudson Star-Observer | Hudson, Wisconsin
KAALtv.com - Report:*Wisconsin Union Changes Saving Schools Millions (http://kaaltv.com/article/stories/S2228761.shtml?cat=10151 - broken link)

And not only that, the Wisconsin VOTERS have reaffirmed their support of Walker's and the Wisconsin GOP's efforts to regain Wisconsin's economic health by NOT allowing the Dems to unseat Prosser and NOT allowing the Dems to take control of the Wisconsin Senate in the recall elections.

Wisconsin taxpayers have learned that Dem policies are disastrous, and have VOTED accordingly.

I have not.. I'm white, but the rest of my household is not. Not sure what the point is though because we're also not tea partiers.

I can defend their position without being a member

my post regarding being non-white was a response to gysmo ( p.141 ) who descibed himself as non- white. you choose to take posts and quotes out of context in the hope of supporting your views- fine. anyone can review the sequence of postings.
of course you don't have to be a tea party member to be an advocate or a supporter. anyone realizes that. no one is asking to see a tea party membership card, if there is such a thing. not being a "member" does not make you any less an ardent supporter.
and i'm assuming that "tyraid" means tirade.

in reality thats not too far off the national average of whites, thats like saying a group is rasist because less than 10% are asian when Asians make up 4% of the national population.
