Oh come on people. This isn't the first riot the UK has seen and it isn't likely to be the last one. Riots in Northern Ireland are practically tradition even to this day ad I'm pretty sure there are plenty of chavs taking part in this one. To listen to some, you'd think that immigrants invented social malaise.

So, basically what's happened is that England's socialists created an entire culture of dependence. After years of wild spending, the money ran out and they had to slash the freebies and actually tax the hordes of dependents. It was a bomb just waiting for a lit fuse.
Give it a few months and we'll be seeing it here too.

What happened is high youth unemployment and a strained relationship with authority in the peak of Summer leading a lot of bored kids to kill some time in the most anti-social way possible.
I sincerely doubt these guys really care at all about politics.

I dont blame him if he called in the Army to mow down the rioters, the Left will cry human rights violations. It really is a no won situation for him.
