Exactly right, they do have the right to be free from its mandates as such. They however are not free to demand it be obsolete from their experience. That is, they have no right to demand it be clean from all of possible aspects of encountering such.
I never claimed they did. Freedom from religion doesn't mean free to never encounter religion or religious people, it means freedom from being forced to abide by religious doctrine, rules, or laws. For example, the government can not require an atheist to take a religious oath.
