Can't get much differently twisted than that. Now we know where Obama's new, um, "focus" on jobs will be.

Quote:
Obama's Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack: "Well, obviously, it's putting people to work. Which is why we're going to have some interesting things in the course of the forum this morning. Later this morning, we're going have a press conference with Secretary Mavis and Secretary Chu to announce something that's never happened in this country -- something that we think is exciting in terms of job growth. I should point out, when you talk about the SNAP program or the foot stamp program, you have to recognize that it's also an economic stimulus. Every dollar of SNAP benefits generates $1.84 in the economy in terms of economic activity. If people are able to buy a little more in the grocery store, someone has to stock it, package it, shelve it, process it, ship it. All of those are jobs. It's the most direct stimulus you can get in the economy during these tough times."

This bunch...in the WH..have to be the most inept, clueless morons I've ever seen.

They think people buying food and essentials is enough of a stimulative to spur job growth.

No wonder we have the obama malaise.

I am seriously want to know how they come up with $1.84 economy grow with $1 spending.

After 3 trillions spent in the last 2 yeas for their friends, I don't see a 5 trillions grow.

Seriously, these morons, I mean criminals need to put behind bars.

Everyone said how pragmatic he could be.

I don't see it. He's done everything that he has had the political capital to do and it's not working. But instead of "talking" to the other side about economics he decides to stick a wall up.

Unemployment benefits, food stamps, and payroll taxes are the places where you get your biggest bang for the buck in stimulating the economy in the short run.

Both the CBO and Moody's showed this.

However, many on the right here never took basic economics. All they do is spout opinions.

Of course, why not put them up while we are at it, at 5 Star luxury hotels too, that will be the next thing to happen, they don't like their accomodations. Why not, lets make things even more simple and easy for them, we need more illegals don't we!!!!!!!! our Government does not seem to give a damn about this problem.
