Currently McCain is talking tough and congratulating NATO, and downplaying Obamas success, but what I found interesting is that McCain and Grahm were just in Libya a few years ago hanging out with Gaddafi. I wonder what made McCain have a change of heart...

there's really not much more to say than mccain is a war profiteer, pure and simple.

he should have been drummed out after the keating 5 scandal.

JOHN MCCAIN’S WIFE HIDING WAR PROFITS, UNTAXED OFF-SHORE ACCOUNTS?

he's not the only one either.......

He's definitely not. Illegally profiteering from war is a bipartisan pastime

sure enough:

Diane Feinstein war profiteer, committee chair manipulation of contracts for hubby's business | NewsBusters.org

why do you think blackwater is rebranded XE?

wars are a great way to steal from the masses, and pretend you are all "patriotic" while doing so.

interesting article on obama and triple canopy:

Obama

here's the beginning:

JEREMY SCAHILL:

Well, I’m starting to call a series of pieces I’m doing "Operation Rebranded," because what we’re seeing unfold with the Obama administration’s foreign policy is basically continuing many of the worst parts of Bush’s foreign policy and sort of repackaging these policies. So, for instance, the Obama administration has dropped the use of the term "global war on terrorism” and uses phrases like “contingency operations” to describe the US occupation of Iraq. The latest news we have is that the Obama’s administration has decided on its mercenary firm of choice. Clearly, Obama did not want to continue at least a public relationship with Blackwater.

AMY GOODMAN:

Even though they changed their name?

JEREMY SCAHILL:

Well, yeah, they changed their name to Xe. It’s like — well, it’s like our friends in Nigeria used to say, Amy, it’s old Coke in a new bottle, or old wine in a new bottle. And so, Obama picked this firm Triple Canopy, which interestingly was founded in Chicago, in the home state of Barack Obama. And then in 2005, they changed their location to Herndon, Virginia, so that they’d be closer to the epicenter of US war contracting, though on the Israeli contract, that I’m going to talk about in a moment, they list their Lincolnshire, Illinois address as their primary address for the contract.

there are a lot of interesting war connections when you start researching them.....
