They just might be stupid, if they think they can go to war with their largest trading partner and literally and instantly cut off their largest incoming cash flow.
The Chinese have been hedging for quite some time, and increasing their gold supply drastically. I wouldn't worry about them. They will take Taiwan and we'll have to sit back and let them. I'm just hoping they'll just keep reforming their government, and make it a more hospitable place for everyday Chinese.

Yes, China can roll into Pakistan easily. The US would not fare well as it has no units to deploy and would have to rely on Nasty Guard units and given their 40% casualty rates in Iraq and Afghanistan, it would be over quickly (and mercifully for the US).
