The Chinese have been hedging for quite some time, and increasing their gold supply drastically. I wouldn't worry about them. They will take Taiwan and we'll have to sit back and let them. I'm just hoping they'll just keep reforming their government, and make it a more hospitable place for everyday Chinese.

Under BushII the USA was humiliated by China when the spy plane was forced down.

The USA hasn't fought an enemy that could fight back on the same level since...WWII.

Who do you consider on the same level as the US??

Do you have a legitimate source for that, or is it some idiot christiantard web-site?

Yes, China can roll into Pakistan easily. The US would not fare well as it has no units to deploy and would have to rely on Nasty Guard units and given their 40% casualty rates in Iraq and Afghanistan, it would be over quickly (and mercifully for the US).

"There are prophecies and oracles from around the world that all seem to point to December 21, 2012 as New World Age ( World is not going to end but millions of people could die in the process of New Age Transition). The ancient Mayan Calendar, the medieval predictions of Merlin, the Book of Revelation and the Chinese oracle of the I Ching all point to this specific date as the end of civilization. A new technology called “The Web-Bot Project†makes massive scans of the internet as a means of forecasting the future… and has turned up the same dreaded date: 2012. Skeptics point to a long history of “Failed Doomsdaysâ€, but many oracles of doom throughout history have a disturbingly accurate track record."

"idiot christiantard web-site"?

Given that you're the one out in cyberspace playing impromptu Stratego with bunker loons, I'd hold off on the name calling.

The USSR matched the USA in the late 1960's and through the 1970's.

Probably why the USA did nothing.

I found it amusing that there were over 500,000 US troops in West Germany and the hope was they would last a week if the Warsaw Pact crossed over....

The USA isn't some invincible force,it is good but then it rarely fights anyone of the same caliber.

GWI was talked up but the Iraqi military wasn't worth much.

I doubt the Chinese are anxious to attack their own money.
