"Generation Y" isn't the generation whose political and economic stewardship has controlled the modern direction of the country... so in that sense, they get a lot of credit relative to how their elders have managed so far.
I like the ones with money they pay me to fix or repair crap that my daughter could fix. She made a lot of extra money in college fixing cars and adjusting carburetors for the high altitude in CO.
Every generation has it's "dumb" that are looked down on by the previous generations.
