The woman has spent plenty and this time it appeared to me that the trip was not what the White House said it was. I am pretty sure they will have to do more than FOIA to get anything this time. After all the first lady is the wife of the Campaigner uh Commander in Chief and he doesn't need anything like this one to blow up in his face now.

Um,... Laura Bush and her daughters went on a month long safari to Africa in '07. Because Mrs. Bush did some "official appearances" while there, the entire trip was taxpayer funded. Mrs. Bush also visited Paris, Prague and Budapest among other trips. It's part of being the First Lady.
