All the aborted fetuses and their mothers would have had lifetimes of 'misery' if the abortion didn't happen ? Ridiculous. Each pregnancy comes with its own story line, some abortions, many, many abortions would have been the answer to a lifetime of misery. Others, simply a choice. Either way, it was the womans decision that had to carry that child. Not your choice.
True that a male is half of the couple causing the pregnancy, but the woman becomes pregnant, so it's reasonable to think she'd be more careful. As a practical matter, the bc available to women are more effective. How much more careful must a woman be besides using the best birth control she has available, or makes that man ....who hates condoms to use. What about date rape, what about outright rape, what about incest? Get a clue, force vascectomies on EVERY SINGLE man that has ever refused to acknowledge that no means no? Now that would be being careful!

In many cases it ISN'T a hard heartbreaking choice in the first trimester when it is bunch of cells etc. etc. Its simply a good choice, or an advantagous choice, or the best choice to be made. Once it actually becomes a more viable fetus and has all its parts, then the heartreak comes in, because the woman had already decided (unless she was a crack ***** or something equally evil) she was going to keep the baby and give it life.....then of course it becomes horribly heartbreaking and a hugely difficult decision. Why would you think otherwise?

What is wrong with you people. Where did you ever get the idea that pro-choice and liberalism has anything to do with each other. ALL WOMEN are created equal in this choice. Woman from ALL walks of life on the left, on the right, in the center or with NO political affiliation sometimes find the need to abort an unwanted, unplanned or forced pregnancy. Do you actually believe that only "liberals" have abortions. I'll be sure and tell my three highly conservative friends that they now are considered liberals because they found it necessary to abort the babies they aborted a couple decades back. They are going to be so disappointed.
I am not sure what the issue is with having morals and teaching our children to keep their legs closed. We are in a day and age that babies are having babies and if you get knocked up its ok just kill a human being.
At some point and time people have got to become responsable for the choices they make.
If every pregnancy was a choice.....then we wouldn't have at least THAT particular reason to have an abortion. But then we would still have rape, incest, health of the fetus or health of the mother to deal with. Morals and teaching our children ???? I assume you mean daughters, your sons can continue to act like randy goats and it would be ok? Babies having babies isn't new. In fact 14 year olds had babies for centuries and centuries. Abortions were done by poison, sticks or coathangers We finally have become evolved and smart enough to have developed simpler and safe methods to end unwanted pregnancy.
Personally, I'm against abortion in all cases except for rape, incest, and a mother's health. I think at the federal level abortion should be legal for those cases and then each state can let voters decide if they want abortion for other reasons. We have to take this issue off the national stage and just move on because we have to deal with a lot of other big issues that affect the entire country.

The problem with this is it will lead to massive fraud and corruption and make criminals out of people who are currently not criminals. Like the war on drugs and prohabition. Then we all get to deal with THAT.
It's difficult to support any law that turns regular folk into criminals when they are doing nothing to harm society.
Besides, what's it to YOU if someone aborts a fetus for any reason. You already think it's ok to do (*under conditions that allow you to feel ok) so just stop right there, no need to micromanage. There is a long host of reasons women end up getting an abortion and if we can't change those reasons it's stupid to think we can solve anything by just denying the final choice.

NEWSFLASH: The issue of abortion has beendecided.....for decades.
The only ones keeping it on the national stage are the pro-life Republicans......guess they aren't THAT concerned about the "big issues" are they?
