Still off topic. I wasn't making a comparison, I was making a point to show all you Europe lovers, that they have the same problems we do. It hit a sore spot I see.
You say you aren't making a comparison while making a comparison. I get it that you want to avoid any comparison or even an extension of your logic that would make us look bad.

I keep saying that liberalism is a mental disease.
It definitely is, see all of them in here defending Europe while putting down America? It's truly amazing. Europe has the same issues as the US with mental illness, but Europe is still better and America is still the monster.
I'm sure many European countries beat us by a mile in alcoholism. It's tradition in a few. As far as your consumption statement, that's the problem in Europe, only 1/3 are being treated and afforded medication. I'd rather be in the US getting the treatment instead of in Europe thinking about killing myself.
Alcoholism is not a tradition, unless you consider a glass of wine with a meal alcoholism.
But how about 'restless leg syndrome". America has a drug for that illness.
One of the working benefits in Germany if you are "stressed out" at work, you get 30 days off at a spa for a "Kur" (cure), all free and paid time off. Understandably, most Germans feel stressed enough to take advantage of the benefit as frequently as possible. This probably weighs into the percentage of "mental problems" reported.

Good going! Yes, in America liberalism is a disease. In other countries liberalism is a differing view.
Don't forget other American mental disorders, such as the sex drive.
