my take on this is simple, if you create a monster to slay dragons, it's only a matter of time before that monster runs out of dragons and turns on you.

However, liberal type posters are squealing about how he got cheered at another time in that same debate by those animalistic TP people. Which is it, the words of Paul or the words of Blitzer that are being cheered?
I have seen very little about what our military has been doing in 3rd world countries in this thread, up to now. When will we see some of it?

OBL was upset that infidel's dared set foot in Saudi Arabia during and after the Gulf War, and he despised the spreading influence of Western culture. So he set out to murder thousands of innocent American civilians on 9/11.
People like OBL cut off your head if you are not a Wahhabi Muslim, cut off you finger for smoking, and slit your throat if you are a woman who dared to wear blue jeans in public. Do not try and justify this kind of barbarism.

I did not justify anything.
Going on and on about how they are attacking us for no logical reason is fantasy.
This is not about what I 'think'. Anyone can read the Islamic speeches [translated into English]. Anyone can ask a Muslim.
I am career military, I was stationed in Kosovo defending Muslims in their war with Christians. People there are very open about why they are doing these things. None of this is hidden except by the Western Media and politicians.
Understanding that they have their logic and reasons is not justifying their actions.
It is like during WWII, posters saying how Germans and Japs were demons. How they ate children, ... Well, did they? Or was it propaganda?
Saying that Muslim nations have no reason to hate us, does not magically make it so.
We all knew that an attack was coming in 2001. It was publicized by everyone, all military bases were on a high alert status. Granted we had no idea of what shape the attack would be in, but only people who had buried their heads in the sand were surprised.
