This is just part of the GOP propoganda machine. I don't believe Rich is a bad word, but apparently the GOP believes that it has negative connotations, so they try to spin it. I think a more apt word for the very wealthy would be money hoarders or more aptly GOD's unchosen people.

Yeah, like where are all those JOBS that were supposed to happen since we started giving said "Job Creators" all those tax breaks (now totaling almost half the annual deficit)?! Looks like they just took the money and ran... just like the Banks!

Your point? All of the workers that put together planes, trucks and terminals are WORKERS. I don't see a bunch of CEOs out there fueling planes at the airports.

Not the point. The point is who is more important - the owners of the means of production, or the ones that actually do the producing?

A bit dramatic. Especially considering the US economy is 80%+ small business.

The corporation is a great tool for unlimited personal gain without any personal consequence of failure. In the modern world, it has come to mean socialized risk without the corresponding benefit of socialized gain. Socialism is socialism. Many refuse to recognize that fact.

Correction: private sector job. Because we all know that public sector folks can make so much more money in the private sector.

Do Libs have ANY clue as to how capitalism works? They want to cut taxes because those companies keep their money out of the US, so it doesn't get stolen, er, taxed. With the highest corporate tax rate in the world, it's no wonder they stay away.

The GOP is trying to get more money back to the US. When will you Libs get that?

You're right - GE needs to start paying some taxes, and stop benefiting from crony capitalism.

When "all those tax breaks" aren't across the board, you create a govt that decides winners and losers. And since this corrupt administration decides winners are whoever contributes to their campaign, you have an economy in decline.
