You do realize that before this Mexican trucks could only go in 50 miles and then transfer their loads to an American truck who then took the goods to their destinations.
Now the American trucking company is out of the picture; the Mexican trucks can go from El Paso right up to the Canadian border if they choose.

So you want government action restricting business activity?
As long as they follow all the rules that American trucks have to follow - I have no opinion.
The question is safety. Are the trucks from Mexico mechanically sound? Given the level of corruption in mexico I wouldnt trust their inspections.
So now we'll have check points to inspect their trucks at our expense.
The drivers are they bi-lingual? Can they read our traffic signs? Understand the difference in our rules of the road?
Will their drivers cheat on the hours?
