And WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had no loans, no money from mom and dad and no scholarship...... just worked my way through school.

I don't understand why so many people think we owe it to our kids to give them four, five or six years of a free ride. If you have the money, fine. If you don't it's not the end of the world.

.

In fact, it's a disaster. The Feds should have NO involvement in education. No regulations, no rules, no loans, no subsidies.

Look up who gets scholarships and why. Most of the full ride scholarships are for athletes. Good if you are okay with a basketball player doing your necessary brain surgery.

Wonderful!

By the way, where do you think the money comes from to support government student loans?

Unrealistic. I graduated in the top 5 percent of my high school class and the only scholarship I received was a state scholarship that provided a whopping $100 per year for books.

I also wouldn't want to watch my brain surgeon play basketball.

So what's your point?
