That's really saying something when right wing loon Pat Robertson says the GOP has gone off the deep end to the extreme right.

"Those people in the Republican primary have got to lay off of this stuff. They’re forcing their leaders, the front runners, into positions that will mean they lose the general election."

"They’ve got to stop this! It’s just so counterproductive!"

"Well. If they want to lose, this is the game for losers."

That's funny seeing as how Pat is one of the crazy uncles they gag in the months before a major election. The left has to try to muzzle people like Sean Penn.

To be honest, it may actually be an active tactic by Romney to let the Cains, Perry's, Bachmans flame out and then stroll on in as "the voice of reason". If Romney looks good in the general polls the far right will GLADLY hop on the Romney bandwagon because they really just want to beat the democrats.

Yeah, that's it. Robertson is in cahoots with Romney (a Mormon) so that they can squeeze out the Evangelicals by being the voice of reason.

IMO, Robertson just wants the right extremists to lay low for awhile so that they might have a better chance of being elected. Then, if they get elected, work towards a Evangelical, Christian theocracy! Don't trust him!

Pat Robertson is a right wing loon? Sorry I disagree. Pat Robertson is yet another so called "neoconservative" that believes in legislated morality. I grew up in the bible belt and I can see his type from a mile away.
