Before ultrasounds, doctors were able to inform a woman of the surgical procedure she was about to undergo. A picture of a fetus isn't the procedure, rather the cause for the procedure.
My gall bladder, my dad's gall bladder and my cousin's gall bladder were all removed before the advent of ultrasounds. The pain was very real -- didn't need a picture -- and the doctor explained how he would perform the surgery, not what the gallstone looked like.
Are they snatched off the streets and taken to secret underground fertility clinics where they are inseminated against their will and forced to produce babies?
Every woman I have ever had sex with volunteered to remove her panties and understood that copulating causes conception.

Women do take responsibility for their vaginas.....they use BC....if it fails.... they either choose to carry a pregnancy or they abort. That IS taking responsibilty.

women don't need to see an ultra sound to know what an abortion is. this is just a anti choice trying to guilt women into changing their minds. our bodies our choice

If she doesn't want to get pregnant, why is she having unprotected sex? What ever happened to personal responsibility? You can't get pregnant without a mans sperm, so how come he doesn't get any say about this? It's as much his child as it is yours.
