Perhaps.

Perhaps.

True. But I think this changes once the fetus comes to a gestational age where it could survive without the mother's body.

No squeamishness here. I'm not particularly emotional when it comes to this topic, as you can tell.

Thanks for the heads up.

I wonder...is it very difficult to tell the difference between a fetus which is totally dependent on the mother's body and an older fetus who can survive outside of it?

Why must everything be so black and white, I wonder...
You seem to think the fetus matters in the least, which it doesn't.

A woman's right to her own body and the fetus being viable have nothing to do with each other.

Unless you think the fetus has some 'say' in what a woman can do with her body?

Which is odd since it is not a person.

Many things in life are legal, but regulated.

Alcohol is legal, but regulated.

Following YOUR logic.....everything should be all or nothing.

Allow everyone to drink alcohol.....or allow no one to drink alcohol.

Allow everyone to drive.....or allow no one to drive.

Allow everyone to marry....or allow no one to marry.

Your argument is lame, foolish and ignorant.......and I will bet most of the people here agree with me.

No one thinks your argument is witty, or intelligent or rational.....BUT YOU.

I don't think the fetus has a say because it's not even self aware.

Hypocrites offend me.

People who crow on about rights but then demand their beliefs restrict rights are offensive.

You think you know best what a woman does with her own body, that is offensive.

But then statists often think that way.

I do think anyone should marry,it is none of my business.

I do think all drugs should be legal,it is none of my business.

You 'reasoning' for restricting abortion don't even make sense since viability is well into the 2nd trimester...LOL..

Sad.

Yes you do.

You think viability has some bearing on a woman's rights.

Just another hypocrite I guess.

Um. No. Fetuses are not self aware. The viability issue is similar to that of caring for the senile elderly in nursing homes.

No hypocrisy, friend.
