That isn't the point. Yes, majority of the population is heterosexual. This doesn't change the fact that homosexuality is part of many mammal species and has been so since the beginning of time.
My opinion, as a moral human being, am not going to deny rights to a group of people for being born a certain sexuality even if they are a minority of the population.
Now, the fact that a school has voted for a female king is their issue, not ours to argue about. I don't think this was a case where the king had to be a girl or that would be maybe something to get riled up about. I think it was just the kids voting for a girl, and that is what they wanted. Maybe this isn't the case, but I really am not going to look into this story any deeper. More important things are in the news.
My point is that no matter how many people try to push homsexuality as the norm, it is not.
It is no less the norm than someone who is left handed.
Should I as a heterosexual who is right handed have more rights than someone who is gay or lefthanded just because being straight or right handed is more common?? No
Dont care if you are gay or not, doesnt bother me. But you vote for 1 male to be king and 1 female to be queen. So some girl thought because she is soooo gay ( not transgender) that she would apply for the male's title?!
Why didnt a male get to have that title? Because she is gay she gets to change her sex?
Kings are male. Queens are female. Not a problem if it was homecoming queen and queen. But the homecoming king was not a male, no matter how gay she is.

would you vote a left handed person "The right-handed person of the year"?

A male didn't get to have the title because more people voted for her. That is the way elections work....
I dont care how gay the girl is, until she grows a penis i wouldnt call her king of anything. That is a category for males. Has absolutely NOTHING to do with her sexual preference. She can be gay, gay, gay, still doesnt make her a boy. It is 2 very different things.
