Why did the Republican Tea Party promise to create jobs during the mid-terms only to turn it's back on the issue once in office?

The admin's focus has been on "green" jobs. They hand piles of money to these green energy companies and tout the number of jobs expected to be created and then watch it all go down the drain. Do they learn. Nope they keep handing our money away expecting it to take off with the next one. It's called insanity. Green jobs, stimulous.........proven failed policies but they tell us wait if we do it again it will work. This alone should cost the orator and his clan of communists to be held accountable and sent packing.

See Bush tried this spending fiasco after 9-11 happened and it didn't work. Did he continue? No he cut taxes and got the economy going. Learn from your mistakes don't repeat them. Obama thinks he makes no mistakes is his flaw.

They followed through by passing plenty of legislation in the house that now sits on a shelf in the senate. That is all they can do. I think you need to address your concerns to the senate and their leader Dirty Harry Reid. He is the one who allows legislation up for debate. He won't. Why? That is the answer you need to find.

If Google can't find it, then it must not exist.

Summary of Jobs Bills Stalled in the Senate - GOP.gov

Here you go, a list of bills passed in the House and stalled in the Senate. Not a jobs bill in the bunch, just the usual GOP mix of bills involving tax cuts and expanding oil drilling, which is all the GOP can focus on--when they aren't doing important stuff like reaffirming our national motto of course.

Not true. A myriad of bills have been introduced by Democrats in the House and Senate that focus on jobs outside of green jobs. A five minute search produced these. There are many more.

S.1769 - Rebuild America Jobs Act

S.1517 - 21st Century WPA Act

S.1660 - American Jobs Act of 2011

S.1329 - High-Tech JOBS Act

H.R.2914 - Emergency Jobs to Restore the American Dream Act

H.Res.442--Investing in improving and modifying the Nation's infrastructure.

H.R.2828 - Local Jobs for America Act

H.R.2537 - Jobs for Urban Sustainability and Training in America Act of 2011

H.R.1941 - Hiring Heroes Act of 2011

H.R.1378 - Fighting for American Jobs Act of 2011

It's interesting to note that there is nothing comparable coming from the other side of the aisle.
