Funny! I was thinking the same thing.

Default Andy Rooney dies...

His bit on parents at little league Baseball games was so funny but true it was my favorite.
R.I.P. Andy

Most of what made America great half a century ago has been fast disappearing of late. And with Andy's passing we've lost yet another irreplaceable piece of our modern history and culture. His gift for common sense commentary that touched the lives of average Americans was unique and incomparable.

He is and will continue to be sorely missed.

No.
Rooney was an original and pioneer.

RIP Andy Rooney. At least he retired ahead of his death, unlike fellow commentator Paul Harvey (whose broadcasts I still miss). He had a lot of insight into those everyday issues ignored by the media.
