Yes or no?
The humatarian effort was peripherical but used as the main pretext. It's rather obvious that it was meant to rapidly stabilize and oil producing country to keep oil prices from fluctuating.

Did you see how fast the US and other major powers reacted? They were pretty quick to take action unlike other humanitarian crisis caused by war that they continue to debate endlessly on or just downright ignore.

President Obama violated the War Powers Act in ordering our involvement in Libya - but his supporters conveniently forget this - and it isn't mentioned enough by people who believe that the president is not above the law.

The man should be impeached - but an indictment by itself won't ensure his removal.

Voting him out of office in exactly 5 months from today - will.

Pretty much - and then President Obama hid behind NATO as a shield to cover his own crime.

Well just maybe democrats should point to their leader of choice,
and not vote for him. Just a thought.

Do liberals and/or progressives still believe Obama's explaination for bombing Libya?

When it comes to Obama they don't have sense enough to believe anything else.

Leaders/ruling parties change - American atrocities don't.

Both parties are parts of one system, and exist exclusively to provide illusion of democracy.

Whoever had any hopes that Obama may change at least something, can bury their hopes at last. He proved enough already what he is.

The hope exists - his name is Mitt Romney.

The change exists too - that is what Barack Obama has left us with in our pockets.

Even if you believe that this guy can beat the system, you should treat him by what he represents. Conservatism got America to the problems it faces now. Some other conservatives lead Soviet Union to destruction (by their own party leaders). Theoretically this ideology leads to disaster, in long term. How can you possibly support such people?

I didn't notice any system changes implemented by Obama. That makes him (and Democrats) a bastard. But it doesn't make sense to say that he is the cause of the problems.
