Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power. Benito Mussolini

I would say it's an apt term then.

Fascism for Obama's pals, socialism for the serfs.

Report: 80% of DOE Green Energy Loans Went to Obama Backers

We all are aware that corruption takes place within our government; but the extent of which is being revealed within this "transparent" administration is mindboggling.
I am looking for the report? I found exerpts from a book, but nothing about a report that we can see. Any more information?

Sounds like business as usual.
Both sides reward who will get them re-elected.
You don't actually believe Obama ramming through loans to insolvent corps. is about the environment?

The title of the book is "Throw Them All Out" by Peter Schweizer

I just copied the title of the link. Haven't read the book yet (new release today I believe.) I guess the report is within the book.

Well without the actual report to look at I can't really comment. I think the title of the thread should have been book alleges that ...etc, etc. Although I can't disagree that we should throw them all out and start fresh.

CLUE to the CLUELESS: If the majority of green companies are pro-environment that means they will back a Dem over a Repub every time. Since the government is trying to help green companies work on our future energy needs it is only logical that they would get funds from the government, the only difference is most Repubs would not invest in the future but would much rather give the gas and oil industries more money and tax breaks. I have bad news for ya, this attempt to attack the President only makes you look Partisan and more interested in political attacks than the future of Ameican and our energy needs.

Did I say that I did?

No. What I said was "sounds like business as usual" as I have no illusions about the fact that both sides reward whomever has the deepest pockets.

Of course, most R supporters prefer to turn a blind eye on the rampant corruption perpetrated by their side, but c'est la vie.

It's a useful conduit to convince stupid people that it's for the environment.
