"A new book by Hoover Institution fellow Peter Schweizer details the startling extent of the cronyism that has pervaded President Obama’s “green jobs” push. According to Schweizer, 4 out of every 5 renewable energy companies backed by the Energy Department was “run by or primarily owned by Obama financial backers.”

"Those companies’ “political largesse is probably the best investment they ever made in alternative energy,” Schweizer explains. “It brought them returns many times over.”

"Such is the inevitable consequence of large government interventions in private markets."

Report: 80% of DOE Green Energy Loans Went to Obama Backers

We all are aware that corruption takes place within our government; but the extent of which is being revealed within this "transparent" administration is mindboggling.

So, of course, they would not receive money from the DOE. Unless the DOE gives out money for environmental destruction.

You mean like Solyndra did, even when the DOE knew they were going bankrupt? Honey, I think the only thing this administration is interested in protecting is their own behinds.

Let me see, Green Energy Innovators aren't real likely to be GOP supporters, now are they?

No.

So, the R's reward Big Oil and Gas, and the D's reward alternative energy.
Sounds like business as usual.

If the Republicans had won the support would have gone to McCain backers. Different names, same crooks.

(D)s are good bubble chasers. Fwanks pumping up housing, Clintoon/Greenspan pumping up Nasdaq and exotic derivatives, and now Obama pumping green scams.
