Pathetic and Communist.

Really?

Politics aside, anyone that wants to be POTUS isn't a communist.

Pathetic? He rides in Airforce 1. Any plane he's in becomes Airforce 1.
Yes, and from what I understand, he and his mother were on food stamps at one point or another. After all, didn't some conservative (Pat Buchanan maybe?) refer to him as "the food stamp president?"

How anyone with a lick of sense could believe that President Obama grew up "privileged" is beyond me. He was very lucky to have his maternal grandparents.

Typical right wing propaganda (lies), straight out of the mouths of the Fox Boobs.....and the idiots continue to suck it up.

Again, poor is relative. His grandparents may have been of means but his mom wasn't. Also, he lived abroad for several years which was not in the lap of luxury.

But first- does it matter? I the President trying to get street cred to drop a new album? No.

How did George W. grow up?

Mitt Romney has claimed not being of privilege when he went to one of the oldest prep schools in the state and his dad was quite connected.

It doesn't matter. A very baiting thread.

the economy was crap long before Obama. Bush was responsible for most of the crap that has happened with the economy. Its going to take 20 years at least to fix what he broke.

What are you smoking?

The wheels fell off the bus when TARP was enacted if you forgot...

He may not have done the best job afterwards but it was already an issue when he was elected.

His parents were well-educated but far from rich. Yes, his grandmother was a bank vice president, but that doesn't mean that Obama himself grew up "privileged."

I fail to see the significance of this, though. Didn't we have a Republican President a few years ago who was the son of a former President, grandson of a Senator, with many elite businesspeople on both sides of his family?

I have no money, went to public school, go to a public university, and have dual citizenship.

Great. Now, which comments in that thread do you take issue with? Quote them and we can discuss them. Until we have an actual statement to discuss, we're just shooting in the air.
