I believe the homosexual "agenda" is many different fronts. The marriage front, minority front, then you do have the ones who think that anything that happens to them is because they are gay so want some sort of reimbursement for those actions. As for freedom from bigotry what is bigotry? Making fun of some gay guy? Are you a bigot if you make fun of a red head? A fat guy? A short person? Etc. They already got hate laws on the books which are plain stupid in my eyes. Soon will it be a crime to poke fun at a gay person? I think that is on many of the agenda's.
It's one thing to tell a gay joke. It's another thing to deny one man the right to health insurance simply because he is in a committed relationship with another man, yet grant that same right to another man because he is in a commited relationship with a woman.
if you are unaware of SB48, this is a law, that has passed in california, that allow schools to teach your kids how to be gay,or how to even change their sex. Also it would seem alot of people, arent aware of this law yet, or that people are taking this real lightly. Sorry, I just read the bill as signed into law and I didn't see any provision mandating teaching any type of "how to's". The law is more about preventing educational material that are harmful to the classes you cited. Nothing about teaching kids how to be gay, can you cite or quote the wording that says what you claim?

"Indoctrinate the kiddies" into what? Believing that people should be allowed to be themselves and love whom they love? Ooooooh, scary.
Like it or nor people have been discovering they are gay for millenia without any of this "evil" being taught in schools. GASP--some children of fundamentalists are actually GAY! Where do you think they learned it?
It's is so heartbreaking to know that simple human respect for others, and recognition that people come in all flavors, is not considered by some to be an acceptable subject for school.
If it were possible to teach people how to be gay, logically it would possible to teach gay people how to be straight. We know that doesn't work. Attractions cannot be taught.
Republican homophobia is just as pathetic as ever. Thankfully the younger generation of all political classes seems far less inclined to hate gays. The old religious nuts in charge might want to remember that.

The great orator is taking care of that problem. I don't know of any policies that insure girlfriends. If all your in it for is the insurance then it's not that committed a relationship anyway. I believe common law states one can get on insurance with your partner if you prove to the insurance company that you are in fact common law. Not sure where ERISA stands on this. Get your own insurance if it's such a big deal. My wife and I have separate insurance through our employers.
