I didn't think there was a connection either. I like Tebow as he is not ashamed of showing his faith. The "Tebowing" is mockery and the Jesus jerseys with his number are mockery, but why get angry at the lost souls who mock, when it is clear are simply doing what unbelievers have always done.

You look to see a fellow Christian then you see how entertaining he is when he plays. I didn't get it until I saw him play this year . If you are a big football fan you already know . I didn't know , so I thought I would let others know .

See, this is why I see no link whatsoever with Tebow/Christian faith and conservatives. This kind of language is as far from Christian faith as you can get, and it represents the same dark spirit as I see in those who mock Tebow. It was only a matter of time until the right wing political hacks would try to use Tebow and his faith in their attacks against their political rivals.

NO, not 'the same dark spirit!' You need to get some more wisdom...and understanding. Might not be a Christian way of speaking, but 'Righteous Anger' does not in any way equate..... to that 'same dark spirit' of hate toward God and HIS children!
