Wow. What a great smack down of the most divisive, partisan president ever.

CEO's Open Letter to President Obama - GerriWillis.com Blog - Fox Business

Quote:
But what I can justifiably hold you accountable for is you and your minions' role in setting the tenor of the rancorous debate now roiling us that smacks of what so many have characterized as "class warfare".

What does matter is that the divisive, polarizing tone of your rhetoric is cleaving a widening gulf, at this point as much visceral as philosophical, between the downtrodden and those best positioned to help them.

It is also a naked, political pander to some of the basest human emotions - a strategy, as history teaches, that never ends well for anyone but totalitarians and anarchists.
Of course, he's not the first successful businessman to object to obama's horrible, awful divisive rhetoric.

This guy came from a humble middle class family, worked his way up, on the way employing probably thousands of people.

His version of America is the right one, whereas obama's version is just all wrong.

A great read.

I was thinking about this today. The Democrats,d espite their claim to want to bring this nation together, has done everything they can over the last several years to divide this nation based upon
White vs black
rich vs poor
unions vs non unions
public vs private sector
working class vs welfare class
religious vs non religious

And so many more ways that one could lose count.

The GOP is so screwed. The mood of the country is not going to tolerate the GOP's lame attempt at trying to make the rich look like victims. I didn't think the House would be in play for 2012, but since the GOP is so rigidly ideological and a pawn for the rich, there's a good chance the voters will just throw those bums out.

Not likely, in fact none of the pollsters think the dems can win the House and MOST of think the dems will LOSE the Senate.

Just so I understand this guy's point...trying to close loopholes which companies exploit to pay no taxes and balancing the tax code so millionaires don't end up paying less percentage of their salaries than middle class workers is deemed class warfare...but those same people arguing that it's class warfare wanting to cut the programs the poor and middle class depend upon, dismantle union rights, and repeal the law that gives healthcare to those that need it, is not?

The divisiveness comes from the right. They insist that they have all answers to all problems and that everyone who does not agree is a commie, marxist, etc.
The right blasts away at everyone and then blames Obama for it.
The right, with black and white views of everything, is not open to other opinions except their own.
For horrible, awful, divisive rhetoric the right is exceptional.
Where has the right ever shown any willingness to consider the opinions of anyone else? They don't.
For the right to accuse anyone of divisiveness is like Al Capone being outraged about criminals.

You people kill me in one breath you discredit a businessman advisor claim they don't pay their fair share?

Then riddle me this how can you defend your claims when Obama appointed one of the biggest tax evading,Chinese loving, job exporters this country has G.E.

Jeffery Immelt G.E.'s CEO the Jobs Czar made over $15 million dollars according to the AFL-CIO,G.E. paid nothing in taxes but had 900 pages of write off's which cost the taxpayer's more money in the time and paperwork why even submit a return? Oh stupid me its the write off's!!!

Flat taxes for everyone no more deductions or write off's and there would be no need in raising taxes or a new revenue source you will get a surplus by closing the loop holes that is your new revenue source.

The humor in your posting is that no one is trying to close "loopholes", in fact Obama created MORE of them with is 2008 stimulus bill.

Do you not understand how creating more loopholes, and then whining about their existance to try to rile up the uneducated americans is class warefare?
