So you believe that everyone should obtain a permit prior to exercising their freedom of speech and you support big government peppery spraying protesters. Why do people claim that the tea party is against big government?

One park, Zucotti which is privately owned.

A degree in basket weaving does not make you more educated. That 92% number is flawed.

Also, the OCW believe in banning guns. The tea party already has em. So let's match both groups together and see who comes out on top.

The Constitution says nothing about needing a permit to exercise your rights. Permits are just a police state tactic, to limit freedom. Like refusing sanitation facilities to demonstrators, and then shutting down the demonstration for health reasons.
When the OWS starts to peacefully assemble we can talk, until then enjoy the pepper spray.

Yeah because that is what responsible gun-owners do.

If you want to protest, do whatever you want. If you want to hold a rally with 1000 people showing up and you want portable toilets, a stage, a PA system and stuff like that you need a permit. That permit proves that you have certain safety plans in place, you employ enough security, you understand the rules for using the space, etc etc etc.

A privately owned park is much different than a public park. It isn't about being right or wrong for me, it is about FACTS. Something you aren't interested in.

ETA: before you do an edit... about post number 58 I believe?

No, actually a lot of people have lost use of these parks. A lot of people who live around these parks have rightfully complained about the noise, violence and the trash they have to deal with just because of the OWS people.

Here you say parkS, then recant that to park (no plural)
