How is the term derogatory?

Original definition:
A child born to a non-citizen mother in a country that grants automatic citizenship to children born on its soil; especially such a child born to parents seeking to secure eventual citizenship for themselves, and often other members of their family.

I still have my own definition.

Been going on for quite some time. Its how the left wins their arguments; they simply change the definitions.

If anchor baby is derogatory what term do we use? What do immigrants call them? If I was the editor of this dictionary that would the question I would pose to those against it.

1. There is no such thing as an anchor baby. Being the parent of a child born in the United States does not entitle an alien not otherwise entitled to be in the United States to remain here.

2. It is a simple fact that it is a derogatory term.

The correct term would be to call them babies.
You could call them American citizens too. Both of those are correct and non derogatory terms. You guys do know what derogatory means right? kinda like using terms like N*gger, Ch*nk, Cr*cker, F*g, Wetb*ck, Mic, etc. They describe exactly what you are think but in a disparaging way.
