It's unfortunate that Goetz didn't have more ammo on him back then.....
Yep. No sense in shooting 4 people and not killing at least ONE. Not sure if that was his intention (i don't think it was) but if you're going to do it, you need to finish the job. All he did was p*ss them off more than anything. They certainly didn't learn a lesson.

Unfortunately he was a bad shot but if he had killed one or more of them he would have been convicted. So I guess thongs worked out in the end.
So he should have killed him just in case??? I don't think so
Well, that's a fair point. The guy isn't a clairvoyant, and no, he shouldn't kill someone just in case they're going to commit another crime. That would be pretty ridiculous. Most people making these comments are Monday Morning Quarterbacking.
I'm coming at it myself from the standpoint that if you shoot someone, kill them. I don't care what these dudes did in the future because i don't know squat about those cases. That's between them, the other so called victims, and the state of New York. Not my business.
So if he was going to shoot 4 bad guys, you may as well blow the souls out of them. That's how i look at it. Shooting to wound is kinda lame....but sometimes it just works out that way i guess.
