The health agency, for example, researched whether adolescents treated for gunshot wounds were more likely to have consumed alcohol and carried a firearm during the period the injury occurred compared with victims of non-gun-related assaults. It took $2.6 million of taxpayers’ money to find out what could have been assumed for free: that teenagers who possess illegal guns, engage in underage drinking and hang out with other ne’er-do-wells are more likely to get shot.

The above is from the link and is an example of the stupidity we're dealing with here. The key word is "assumed". Science isn't about assuming, it's about finding out the truth

The NRA's mission has **** to do with the second amendment. The mission is to sell more guns plain and simple. It's always a boon for the gun sellers when there's a Democratic President cause then their sales skyrocket with the better get'm now when you can panic. The smart ones vote Democratic for that very reason I can assure you. They might be registered Republicans and they might spend the next 4 to 8 years harping about how horrible that he got in but they vote Democratic

Kennesaw Georgia has a law mandating gun ownership. Where is the NRA on this? Why aren't they protesting this violation of the 2nd amendment? There's also a bill pending in South Dakota that would mandate gun ownership. Where is the NRA on that?

"The Obama administration’s anti-gun agenda, which has been sneaking into the federal bureaucracy in recent years..."

Examples, please.
