In my world, the facts dictate, lazy people aren't expected to take away jobs. And whiners complain about taxes, rules, regulations, unions, health care law,... you name it. Why aren't these issues creating a similar crisis with Germans?

VW and Fiat are dominating the 4th biggest car market in the world.

What problem would it have presented?

The bigoted midwesterners don't want black people building cars? Or do they not want southerners building cars?

We're talking about South Carolina here. I don't think i have to go any further with that point because you know EXACTLY what i'm talking about.
Your attitude, that something is wrong with nonunion states, that this is somehow "implicitly understood" and that I'm just "supposed to know EXACTLY what you're talking about," is a good example of why so many people refuse to buy American cars.

For one thing, CEOs in Germany make 1/10th of what US CEOs make.

Germany doesn't have a problem with illegal immigration because Germany doesn't border on a poverty stricken country like Mexico. Germans love to complain about taxes, rising healthcare cost and so on as well. Germany always had a heavy regulated industry. Its just part of the culture. I'm German and i realize although this country has problems that compared to the rest of the world I live in paradise.

There are lots of Mexicans working in the San Fran bay area. I don't think you could classify them as lazy. Illegal, yes, lazy no. They took somebody's job.

There isn't a problem with Turkish immigrants in Germany right now?

You're providing evidence to my point... keep complaining.

Well, there are people who do. I got that line from a Hispanic comedian at the Improv BTW. She was hilarious, and seemed to have wiped the smile out of a few people sitting on my table.
