Do you want to know your legislator's true colors when it comes to protecting our civil liberties?

See who voted Aye & who voted No.

Call them up and express your anger and tell them they have lost your vote in their next re-election.

The 2 presidential candidates who are also Congressmen, Bachmann and Paul, did not vote on account of being on the campaign trail, but I think we can all agree that Bachmann would have voted YES and Paul would have voted NO if they could.

Ron Paul is the only one talking about the monstrosity called NDAA.

Senator Scott Brown whom I USED to support until the NDAA bill voted Yes... And lost my support! Completely. He is a member of the National Guard. He should have known better.

Out of all reps here in Mass, only one voted yes (Nicky Tsongas).

I am alarmed to see my rep voted aye, but I am sure it's a large bill that encompasses a lot of different things involving national defense. I thought the most aggregious violations of our rights were stopped by Rand Paul, but I'm not sure. Judge Napolitano is the only one that talks about this bill.
If the indefinite detention of citizens is still in there, there should have been a lot of discussion on the floor. I assume this was another bill rushed through, without the time for analysis or debate.
Is this in the Senate now?

I believe it has been voted in the Senate as well, with only 13 voting against it. This includes six democrats (Cardin, Durbin, Franken, Harken, Merkeley and Wyden), six republicans (Coburn, Crapo, DeMint, Lee, Paul and Risch) and one independent (Sanders). That makes for an "NDAA approval rating" of over 85% in the Senate with only these fourteen going against the tide.

In the House, 50% of democrats (93 out of 186) voted yes, and 81% of republicans (190 out of 233) voted yes for it. In other words, it may be easier to applaud 93 democrats and 43 republicans who chose to vote against it.

Already cleared the Senate and awaiting Obomba's signature. It is a done deal.

My Congressman voted NO but both of PA's Senators voted YES. I have already called and e-mailed them and explained that I am convincing as many people as possible to vote them out of office for failing the people they claim to represent.

Yes that is the solution. They have shown they cannot be trusted with the power we have provided them. Napolitano suggested civil disobedience, if they show a warrant that is not signed by a judge.
