I wonder how the rest of the world, especially Russia, Iran and China look at the US and its everlasting wars.
First we invaded Iraq, then Afghanistan, then Libya, and of course there are still further threats to other countries as well, such as Iran and North Korea.
Hitler invaded country after country, and eventually enough countries got fed up and joined to take them out. I'm sure Hitler sold his people that they were doing the right thing by taking over these countries as well.
Looking at all this from a human perspective rather than an Amero Centric perspective, I would not be surprised Russia and China join in with Iran and take out the US. Were at our lowest point economically, and it would not be a hard sell to the people of other countries to make the US look evil, by pointing out the ever encroaching police state we find ourselves in, not to mention we have one of the highest incarceration rates in the world. The US used similar propaganda for other countries in the past.

The part you said about the USA being "taken out" seems impossible because we have more than enough weapons to take them out also. Some say Iran must be stopped before they nuke Isreal ..........That would only mean TOTAL destruction of Iran..Iran would radiate from the destruction for 1000 years.
I was referring to their attempts to shut down the strait during the Iran-Iraq war. That didn't go over well then, and it won't go over well now. We have placed sanctions on them, and rightly so. Do you really want to see a nuclear Iran? Really? All they have to do is fully comply with the terms of the NNPT, which they agreed to do when they signed it.
I don't want to see another war. Hell, enough is enough from where I sit. I had two nephews and a cousin in harm's way these past ten years. At the same time, we have treaty obligations with our allies, and it certainly IS in our interest to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. If we cannot stop the proliferation, how does the rest of the world expect us and the other nuclear armed nations to disarm?
Do you really think Iran wants to nuke the U.S.? seriously? When has anybody from Iran threatened such a thing? Even if they could, they aren't stupid, that is mutually assured destruction, or certainly their own suicidal mission. They are completely surrounded by U.S. bases.
Yes, they signed the non-proliferation treaty, and guess who isn't living up to it, the U.S. We have no intention of disarming. We (Obama) said we cannot meet our deadline of 2012, and will need another decade. Our word means nothing. Iran signed it, and we have yet to prove they are developing anything other than energy. We've been here before, with Iraq, going to war under false pretenses. If you are so gung ho for war, do it right, and have it declared by Congress. Have a plan to get in and get out - or don't do it. Right now, war with Iran would include war with Russia, and China. Do you really want WWIII? The IAEA stated that they may be, which means they have no evidence. BACK OFF
Now, Saudi Arabia has said they will increase their oil production, in the event Iran isn't willing or able to move their oil. So this panic about Hormuz, is not our problem. We get most of our oil from Mexico and Canada. This is Europe's problem, let them deal with it.
All this "war on terror" has done by design is weaken us down to be easily whipped.
How has it weakened us? What are we low on ammo now? One could take the opposite position that the US Military has more combat experience (and built upon that experience) than any other military in the world.

You can see all the same run up talking points coming for Iran as we did for other unjust wars of late.

Look at weapons technology advances from the period of the civil war, to WWI, a span of 50 years. Compare further, the advances from the end of WWI to the beginning of WWII, then the advances during the 5-7 yrs of that war itself, culminating in nuclear weapons.
To think some other, far more advanced weapon system hasnt been developed in the past SEVENTY years, might be somewhat shortsighted.
HAARP, is the one that comes to mind, right off hand. A quick search will show that Russia, and China, also seem to have developed their versions of HAARP as well. Just what these things do is very speculative. But the larger powers seem to want them, which tells me they are weapons, and not research facilities.

I am f--king part japanese and to claim that they were not totally at fault for atrocities done prior and during WW2 is a sign of mental illness. The US was more than justified for blockading Japan, and trying to stop its imperialistic actions, but there are so many morons posing as america-haters because its the latest cool fad their society-failure HS political science teacher taught them, they don't know any better.
Saudi Arabia has bought tons of our weapon systems - let them fight this. We shouldn't be their pit bulls or their bouncers. Let them use their own military to keep the strait open and let them fight their own fights. If they can't take Iran, then they suck and they can take it from there. We have enough oil in North America that we shouldn't be paying for that country in American blood (or Iranian). All these countries in the ME (Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc) can take car of themselves and don't need us and we need to quit pretending that they do cuz they are playing us for fools and all our money.
