The person who sees aliens everywhere, will understand that they can not admit it to some people or they will get locked up. What they can't understand is why these insane people who don't see the aliens get to lock them up.

While I have no religious beliefs at all and couldn't care less who's bumping uglies with whom, the reality is that most people are religious and most religious orders are against homosexuality. We're talking about people's fundamental belief system, it's a huge part of their identity.
That doesn't mean their views are right, however. They're certainly not compassionate or empathetic.
It has to do with the topic of the thread: should schools teach children that gay sex is natural. Majority believes it is not natural, so why should schools teach the opinion of a small minority as the truth? The teachers would be forced to lie to the kids, and you obviously have no problem with it because you agree with the opinion, but would you be ok if teachers were forced to lie about things you do not agree with?
The topic is about homosexuality, not 'gay sex'. It's an orientation, not a behavior. Gays and lesbians can be virgins and still be homosexual.

Evolution is an established scientific theory. People who deny it (after having examined the evidence) are on the fringe.
Whereas homosexual behavior is an act that raises value issues for families and society as a whole - like masturbation, promiscuity, watching porn, prostitution, etc. Even though all of these may be "natural," they are also much more controversial.
I stand by my opinion that parents should decide what, if anything, they should teach their children about these things.
Try reading the whole thing and learn something. You only skirt around facts and change things to suit you way of thinking. Homosexuals are very proficient at spinning facts to fit their agenda.

I've said it before, but some conservatives seem awfully obsessed with the idea of shoving things down children's throats... an expression I find both weird and creepy.
I simply used the words in the post I was replying to (from a gay activists). I am sorry you find his/her words creepy and weird:
"Do you feel like the gays are shoving their hot sweaty agenda down your throat until you gag on their sin?"

That is another problem with arguing with homosexuals they will trash any source that goes against what they want to believe. Spin, spin, spin.
No1 rule... trash anything or anybody that disagrees with the homosexual agenda.
No, NARTH is a religiously based anti-gay fringe advocacy group who have been caught lying and misrepresenting the work of real scientists and health professionals. Over and Over and over again. They publish anti-gay propaganda. It's very easy to show how they lie and distort studies by others.
Real health professionals and researchers complain about their work being distorted and misused by NARTH. Most of their members are lay people with no qualifications. None of their nonsense would stand up to scrutiny in a courtroom.
Even Christian psychologists in this field, like Warren Throckmorton or Mark Yarhouse, regularly take them to task.
Using NARTH for information about homosexuality is like using the KKK for information about black people.
Yes, why would it be wrong. Replace homosexuals with black, asian, or democrat.
