Last two Presidents to have a balanced budget? LBJ (A Democrat") in 1969 and Bill Clinton! Now what was your question again?

Actually, I didn't ask a question.

I requested an example of a liberal calling for a spending decrease (other than defense) which you failed to do.

And did Mr. Obama call for a non-national defense spending decrease?

No, I was awake as I listened to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid talk about a "framework" for "future deficit compromise".

If you can't learn to speak or understand the language of "democrat" then you can't understand their double-speak.

The Paul Ryan plan and the Rand Paul plan were the ONLY calls for IMMEDIATE budget reduction.

Neither Obama or any other Dem (and too few Republicans) proposed any CUTS IN SPENDING during the debt ceiling debate. All Obama proposed was a reduction in the rate of increase. Spending under his proposal increased every year! Something the MSM likes to hide, and a reason that anyone with any sense of responsibility hated the fact that the Rs caved and handed Obama a 2.4 trillon $$ credit card.

Well this liberal wants to chop welfare and close the border. And yes, defense spending gets the axe too.

well let's see! people want a balanced budget but in my post above there have been only 2 presidents to do that so far.
Why has this become a issue? You want to cut the budget? Let's start with the Military which is way out of line percentage wise compared to other nations.
I wonder how many cities or towns would literally go bankrupt if we sliced the DOD budget in half!
Obama's hands were tied since the day he stepped in office looking at all the crap that he inherited from the previous administration with 2 unfunded Wars and a Medicare prescription drug bill.
Where were you people when Dubya was spending like Kim Kardashian?
