It is increasingly clear that Barack Obama will be a One Term President. As the GOP candidate materializes, and people are finally able to rest their laurels on Anyone But Barack, the race for the White House will become more and more decisively reserved for Republicans in 2012.
Several months ago I quit contemplating "IF" Obama would be beat...and began contemplating "WHO" it would be that will beat him. It's a forgone conclusion as that he's done far as i'm concerned.
1400 people polled? Yes I know , there is a mathmatical theory behind the numbers. Still only 1400 people.
Needless to say , living up here and being polled weekly , I dont have much faith in polls.
The part of the poll about who people would vote for in the election has already been/is already being discussed on our elections forum.
However, when you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are some other interesting results.
It's important to note that according to this poll only 29% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction.
What the poll doesn't ask is whether the country is headed in the wrong direction because of Obama policies or because the House blocks Obama's policies?
Let's be clear, Obama may be at 45%, but the approval rating of bed bugs beats the approval rating of the Republican House.
No I don't think the other threads are nonsense. I think Rasmussen is a bit Republican-leaning, but I don't think it's complete nonsense.
I think the election will be very close. Very, very close. The liberals on this forum seem to think it will be an easy win for Obama. That's rather hilarious.

But it is a presidential election - I think despite so many in the MSM trying no to tarnish Obama's image, it is a losing battle. He just makes too many gaffes and has been completely ineffective.
It is clearly headed in the wrong direction due to his policies too.
