How well do you think the United States would have done had there been, instead of being a post plaque land free of American Natives, Native American land lords charging the pilgrims rent? Maybe what you have in mind is putting Donald Trump on a reservation. If so I am interested, and will perhaps join your Libertarian party.

Really? You think that opening up land for development didn't help? I'd like to find a nice spot and build a house on it like the founders did. I'd like slaves too. That game plan worked so lets do it.

Good to know we can include some actual Indians too. The people now controlling the land and charging access for it don't eat buffalo so shooting them from the train won't help. We may be able to drive them out by closing restaurants in Manhattan.

How well do you think the new Constitutional government would have done if we had to pay Indians rent.

Simple question.

You know the US Constitution was ratified long after the arrival of the Pilgrims, right? The law of the land as it pertained to the Pilgrims was the Mayflower Compact.
