President Obama blames the press for creating the image that he's aloof and disconnected from the rest of Washington, insisting in a new interview that he's just more interested in spending time with his family than in exchanging pleasantries with strangers.
"My suspicion is that this whole critique has to do with the fact that I don’t go to a lot of Washington parties and, as a consequence, the Washington press corps maybe just doesn’t feel like I’m in the mix enough with them, and they figure, well, if I’m not spending time with them, I must be cold and aloof," Obama said in an interview with Time Magazine released Thursday.
I got the impression he doesnt really care if some think he appears to be cold and aloof. Everytime i see the man he seems to be smiling and happy at the success he has achieved the work he is doing and the great family he is part of..
Through hard work and dedication he has risen to become the President of the USA,,Cold and aloof? i dont see it,if you do then you are entitled to your opinion..

You telling me or Obama? He's the one complaining here.
The Obama's are chronic complainers. Michelle complains about her "angry black woman" stereotype, BO complains about his cold and aloof image. Here's an idea, try being a leader and stop worrying about your damn image, narcissist.
He was just trying to come up with an answer for why he is perceived as aloof.
If he doesn't go to many parties, apparently the media surmises that he is aloof and cold. No one, not even the president, can control what others think or what they want to believe. Even to the point of making things up (as the 'media' seem to have done).
