Here's a guy who as a businessman, participated in one of the worst big biz/big gov't scams there is, namely abuse of eminent domain. He tried, unsuccessfully, to seize the home of an elderly woman that he wanted for a limo parking lot.
Michelle Malkin » Donald Trump’s eminent-domain empire

I think almost all conservatives, from libertarians to the religious right, Paulites to Reaganites to Palinistas, would agree on the reaction to this: revulsion.

Here also is a guy who donated $50,000 to the campaign of Obama's right hand man Rahm Emanuel:
Hollywood helps Rahm haul in $10.6M - Meredith Shiner - POLITICO.com

This he did not 10 years ago, not 5 years ago, but Jan 2011, just about 2 months before he was all over media calling Rahm's ex-boss the worst president in history.

I understand that he is well educated, is good at spewing sound bites, and has had a long business career. But c'mon, his primary career now is that of 'reality show' producer/performer. Why is he taken seriously by the MSM, much less by conservative media, and even much less by any GOP candidate, activist, or voter?

Are you sure he is? taken seriously, I mean. Is he perhaps just good for ratings and amusement? Mr. "I'm in, I'm out, I'm in..." good grief.

Is there even a one-percent chance he's about to say he's in, and hand the Subversive-in-office a win??

I'm a conservative (Republicans aren't conservative).

Not only do I find the political fascination with Donald Trump stupid, but I also have no respect for his business and TV practices.

He is barely a millionaire, he is a name, a front man for investors. Kind of like Mitt Romney.

Johnny Depp is left? I know he's a great actor but a left wing activist? I didn't even know he was political. I think your confusing him with Sean Penn
