I have to admit there are times where I sometimes think, hmmm right now it would be good for our country to streamline applications for energy projects such as the Keystone Pipeline or it would be good to temporally allow American corporations to bring their overseas cash back to the US tax free.

BUT THEN... I see someone on Fox News or Donald Trump's twitter feed or Glen Beck spewing all this crazy non-sense about conspiracy theories and ridiculous claims I know are false and it is like a slap in the face, WAKE UP!! Phew, that was a close one.

I could never see myself being a part of the Republican Party because these people are so extreme and simply bad people. I know there are many bad characters on the Democrats side too, but they are not in the mainstream media claiming to be fair and balanced etc.

I would still vote for Democrats regardless, but for the future sake of the Republican Party, how do you guys NOT see this as a problem? Republican Senator Coburn made this point too.

I think this is absolutely true, but it's something the party needs to sort out for itself going forward.

I thought that you were going to ask a serious question.

Instead you just went on a typical liberal attack rant.

The Republican party has been over taken by "extremists. I never really understood the "Tea party" either since most protestors where basically white people complaining about their taxes!
Don't like paved roads, a police force, public education? Compared to other nations in the world we get a lot of "bang" for our tax dollars!
I am single & self employed! Why should I pay for public education? Somebody paid for MY education and now I contribute to Society as well!
