And this is a problem, why?
you like myself has served and realize the types of food that is presented to the troops and alot of it is not healthy

Because you were grunts and grunts cannot constantly run/fight just on veggies! Many of the Air Force positions (including mine) do not require alot physical labor, there are some exceptions security, the flight line and such but most of them do not. You trying to compare apples the paperweights. The Army and the Air Force dining facilities are like night and day even what they serve is different.

But you are right "a soldier is not going to fight a war eating just veggies" but you do realize that is not what she said, don't you?

Honestly, some folks think that was what the FLOTUS said.

History has taught us that First Ladies should be gagged for the duration of their husband's presidency. Sometimes the same is true of VPs

I'm just hoping that they stop putting pork in everything and quit boiling every vegetable to death.

I'm working around a military community now and had to stop eating at the DFACs because I'm vegetarian and all I could eat was dessert and salad. The poor soldiers who have to eat there and have dietary requirements that are supposed to be met have my great sympathy.

And no, it's not easy to get Separate Rations.

(Hmmmm, I wonder if I could get them to serve tofu sandwiches?)

I want to see some proof, Rick, otherwise, you're just babbling BS.
Right- as soon as Michelle comes out and confirms that this is actually the case I'll let you know since you are oblivious to the obvious.

If you'd read the thread you'd see there were some. This was posted earlier:

Just because others have done it doesn't make it a good thing either....

Yeah, I said it, And no I'm not pulling the race card but there is really no other explanation for some of the assinine remarks that he has posted regarding the first lady and the current president.
In fact I have. The position of first lady is asinine and a waste of tax dollars. Ut oh....did I just go from purported racism to chauvinism? And yes.....you are pulling the race card.

The NFL does not build stadiums. Business people build stadiums. If they happen to be subsidized by tax dollars it's on a local level and an acknowledgement of the fact that these stadiums bring in massive tax revenue for the cities and states that host them.
