I bet those hard-core conservative right-wingers have no complaints about Viagra being covered.

What do you mean "getting away from abortion." Is that what you call BC?

My head is spinning. Aren't most conservatives TRYING to prevent abortions? Doesn't BC prevent abortions? Why would you want to limit access to a medication that would prevent abortions?

And, didn't you say earlier that your wife had her tubes tied? Had you worked for a religious organization would you have been ok with their not paying for that surgical procedure because of their beliefs?

Then why does the church condone using the rhythm method? Isn't that trying to prevent procreation? Why isn't using the rhythm method considered immoral?

Funny how all those religious 'beliefs' tend to elevate the man and subjugate the woman.

The church wants power over women, pure and simple.
And it appears that many men want power over women, also.

It's nice to know that stinking old perverts can get viagra to aid them in molesting children and raping women..so nice to know.

No, I don't. The problem is churchists like you don't see how playing "religion card" is technically taking rights away from individuals whose decisions should be their own and their doctors'. Not of you, not of politicians who play the game that you do, and certainly not of priests and preachers.

Despite what you or anyone else thinks, the church doesn't ask. It simply teaches what it believes, If you want to follow those teachings, its your choice.

Honestly, my SO would be EVERY bit as interested in getting me viagra if I needed it as I would. Are you gals from the victorian era or something where sex is an unpleasant chore for the woman? Wierdly ironic.

3) Birth control as many have pointed out has a number of legitimate medical applications. On this basis alone I feel it should be covered in the health plans.

4) Many of you want religion out of the government.....but you want government in the religion. (and of course some here are the exact opposite.) Just food for thought. So many seem to have personalized this entire argument where I think it doesn't need to be.

As for number 2,I'm pretty sure my SO would be very interested in me preventing a pregnancy.
Other than that,I would prefer cuddling over Viagra from my man.
