A Chicago lawyer who has published articles about the legal and ethical issues of sexual orientation research says that if a so-called gay gene is ever isolated, parents should have the right to abort a gay fetus or manipulate its genetic makeup. His stand prompted a swift response in San Francisco, where Supervisor Tom Ammiano called the idea frightening, the proud parents of a lesbian found it very painful and a gay rights attorney called it "ludicrous from a scientific point of view."
So if there is a genetic marker for homosexuality, and people started aborting their "gay babies", what would be the fallout? (If anything, it would be entertaining).
I believe quite a few people who support banning abortion would make an exception and allow an exception in their law that would allow for the aborting of fetuses determined to be homosexual. After all, the hatred and resentment against homosexuals from the right side of the political spectrum is so incredibly intense and heart felt.

I am 100% pro choice for women on the abortion issue...THAT being said,talking about abortion may be entertaining to YOU,but thank GOD you are in the minority on that subject being used for "entertainment".

Hell,the RWNJs can't tell the difference between a straight and a gay ADULT(Larry Craig,Karl Rove,Ken Mehlman,Ted Haggard et al)...how the hell do they think they could do it with a fetus.

Well, come to think of it, prolifers are reputed to care only for the preborn and forget about it once they're born. So as long as they don't have to worry about the welfare of the homosexual baby, the same as the other babies, then maybe they would be just fine, after all, with keeping homosexual fetuses.

I agree. I think there would be at least some Conservatives who would change their views of abortion and lump gay babies into the Rape, Incest, Health of Mother exception categories.
Abortion would be a good thing to prevent more abominations from being born.
