More evidence that Bush should be tried as a war criminal, because really - that's what he is. You should believe NOTHING this pyscho creep says. Look at the mess he's gotten this country into because of his lies. And he's not done yet...

Look for this story on Faux News this evening. NOT!

Two former CIA officers say the president squelched top-secret intelligence, and a briefing by George Tenet, months before invading Iraq.

"The policy was set. The war in Iraq was coming, and they were looking for intelligence to fit into the policy, to justify the policy."

Yes, Salon is more credible than Fox, as long as it tells you what you want to hear.

If Bush saw one report that said Saddam had nothing, and 28 reports saying he did, I see no reason to wonder why the one report was blown off.

Besides, Saddam defied UN orders for 10 years, and many other countries felt he was building a weapons program.

I don't like the way we went in, but Saddam did his best to provoke it by taunting us that we couldn't get an inspector in.

Kind of makes one wonder what Saddam did with them. He had them. I know he did. We sold him some. We as in the US. He bought a bunch way back in 1988.

It doesn't really matter at this point how much of the truth comes out about the so-called 'run-up' to the invasion. If you were there and paying attention, you know how it all played out and how it was handled. But a lot of folks weren't paying attention back then and didn't know how things were being handled. Many of those now find themselves so invested in the fruits of such earlier credulity that there's no way for them to turn back gracefully at this late date. Best just to leave them with the comfort of their illusions, I think. The moving finger writes, and having writ, moves on, and there is little doubt of what it has recorded with respect to this entire fiasco...

Lol, yeah, the dems that voted for the war was apparently part of the group not paying attention.

Not really. Just another boring post from someone who can't accept Fox News as a legitimate news station and ignores the fact that George Tenet told Bush that WMD in Iraq was a "slam dunk."

It doesn't matter. The Israeli Lobby is pushing for more Americans to die for war with Iran.

Iran has repeatedly tried to make concessions and is a hell of a lot more open with their nuclear program than Israel, but do you think that matters? If the Jewish Lobby wants to send Americans to fight and die in Iran for Israel... it's going to happen.
