Bull Scat. The kid kept saying "I'm Mexican". If he is Mexican doesn't he belong in Mexico?

My brother in law who is from England was ranting about the USA while visiting at my home. I told him flights leave for England every day, no one is stopping him. My sister was royally POed at me, but I don't regret it. If you are that unhappy why stay?
People have to learn. If you don't want people to be rude to you, then don't do it to them. Freedom of speech goes both ways.

He is a Mexican if he is a legal or illegal immigrant from Mexico. However, many who are U.S. citizens but from Mexican roots still call themselves Mexicans though. I never could figure that one out.

Sounds like a good idea.

Why would any sane nation tolerate an invasion of uneducated, illiterate, and inskilled people into their nation?

Liberalism = National Suicide

Telling someone to go to mexico who keeps repeating im mexican should be normal reaction.

Of course the time we live in is far from normal.

If the kid keeps implying that he's from Mexico, then it would be correct to tell him to go back to Mexico. She would be wrong if she told him to go back to Nebraska.

I am reminded of those who move to Montana, then say (frequently) "Well, back in (wherever) we did that THIS way!" or "Why don't we have a (whatever) in this place like we had in (wherever)?"
They are often invited to return to (wherever) as soon as possible.
This kid set himself up for the invitation to return to Mexico. I am totally in agreement with the teacher. IMO, she done good!

Hockey pucks are a bit excessive. Mine threw chalk board erasers.

Telling the student to "go back to Mexico" is entirely appropriate. The kid was trying to be annoying on purpose.
If he wants a Spanish language translation it can be found in Mexico. So go there.

The kid obviously knows English yet choose to get on this teacher's last nerve by repeatedly saying "I'm Mexican" over and over again. She could have had him removed from the class for being disruptive but she gave in and played his game.
He "punked" her and teachers are human but she shouldn't have lost her self control.

I simply don't know what to say, other than... ITA.
