It's pressTV, it's Iranian news agency. Probably their most famous story was publishing images of "US troops" sodomizing Iraqi's...... porn tape. LOL

Oh, so should cops just start shooting people who run?
It's obviously okay to murder someone for running.

So, back in Sept of last year, we discussed the fact that this young lady was running away, and was about to head out into the middle of a street where she could have caused an accident, been run over, and possibly injured or killed someone else in the process. That met the exception rule to the police not being allowed to tazer someone in handcuffs.

BTW, the girl didn't see a police car and start running. She had been arrested for rear ending 2 cars and then fleeing the scene, and was currently trying to escape custody at the FHP substation. These are facts you might have known had you taken a few moments and even investigated this, or read the thread that was started back in September of last year.

But for her own actions, we would not be having this conversation.
Oh, because she was running in the street. That makes it all okay.

So, I guess it's okay for the police to go around killing the little children who run in the street to get their balls, huh?

Actually, if you look at the vid you see she is just coming out of a building into a parking lot. But if she didn't have handcuffs I guess it wouldn't have mattered they could have tasered her to death anyway. She was a small distance from the officer.

Is he afraid to run or something? Don't they make police take a physical test?
I'm pretty sure he can outrun a scrawny woman in her 20's.

He didn't really have to run much. I looked at the video and I find it totally unacceptable. The track record for officers nationwide appears to be bad. I haven't seen that they get disciplined for what I have seen as abusive and negligent.

They can literally cause injury for any reason, send the bill to the victim and not even get reprimanded. What happens is people have to expend great funds to take it to court. That is why video is so important.

I suggest if you are going to make it a habit to resist arrest that you first get a complete physical to rule out any heart abnormalities. Secondly, avoid taking any drugs that might cause your heart to behave abnormally. This information could save your life should you be a total moron who believes resisting arrest is a nice hobby.

I take it no one here has had any kind of unjustified run in with police, eh?

Some of us have and lived to tell about it.

I believe all Cops who abuse their power should be tried and locked up with the criminals they put away. However, in this case based on the evidence the responsibility for this WOMANS actions lie squarely with her.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Murder is a degree of the intent of the act. Oter sie a driver who hit a pedestrain would be a murderer. I think perhaps this is best left to a grand jury as to circumstqances. The Tazer is given for a reson to cops. Whether it was properly used in thsi circumstaqnces depdns o heari gall the fact ;not just a article account. Cetainly the usage can i any circumstqance cause some to die ;just has chaisng them can.
