This is clear evidence that the GOP has declared war on women, and I believe a large part of the reason Olympia Snowe quit the senate.
Amazingly, the Republican Party's de-facto leader, Rush Limbaugh, called a bright young woman a "Sl_t" over her testimony concerning contraception, and his constituents in the GOP do not condemn his remarks, showing how morally degraded and misogynistic the party has become.
Thankfully we have a President who is a real man and took the time to call this woman and speak to her like she deserves to be spoken to, while the Republican leadership continues to cower before the hopped up carnival barker Rush Limbaugh.
This once proud political party has been reduced to this. Sad, and sad for America.
Limbaugh isn't a political party leader. He is the entertainment rock star of conservatives and he himself has problems with your average spineless Republicans.
He's talent who talks politics, he isn't a politician. He wouldn't want the decrease in pay IMO to become a politician.
But not one among the Republican leaders dares to offer a peep of criticism when this guy who acts as the spritual guide for the GOP steps so far out of bounds by attacking an individual citizen who isn't a public figure.
I hope they have better things to do than comment on radio shows.
