Aside from the idea that Christianity needs a former KGB agent to 'defend' it, the notion that a country that doesn't even have a blue-water navy is going to doing any global defending of any sort is amusing.

TOO cool to hear this. A preacher-type-dude that really doesn't sound or act like one, that I have followed for many years has said since at least the seventies that Russia would become more like the US and vice versa. He was not speaking from a geopolitical viewpoint but merely from principle. (dude is at www.fhu.com)

Here we are...apparently.......Russia is becoming more Christian and America is becoming Communist. What a trip.

There was a report yesterday about a preacher being arrested outside of a DMV station .. reading the bible 'out loud'.

The station was 'closed' but the cop said that he (the preacher) was interfering with the people's right to conduct business .. at the station! (implied)
