I don't think so. You have to remember that the situation on the ground has to stabilize first and rescue/recovery operations be well along. A Presidential visit now would just be a distraction.
I heard one of the Sheriffs yesterday on the radio telling people to stay away if they didn't belong there and were only sightseeing. I do the same where I live when we have one of our periodic tropical storm incidents.
The man's a politician facing an election in a few months, I have no doubt he'll visit when it's safe to do so. At the moment, it'd be a bad move. Expect him there in a minimum of seven days time.
He did last time, although as others mentioned the dust had settled some. It really doesn't matter though, if he does go there will be partisan posters blasting him for taking cheap photo ops and calculating how much money the trip cost the taxpayers, if he doesn't then he's out of touch and doesn't really care about the people.

Good post and true....
BTW, the "dust" has to settle before he can visit:
A. There were LOTS of tornadoes over a couple of days. No matter what his politcal affiliation, the US does NOT put their President in UNnecessary danger.
B. The people of that area have a whole lot to do. A disturbance like the President visiting would take police and other officials away from much more pressing duties.
But you're right , if Obama visited DURING the tornado the whiney Repugs would...well, whine.

True:
"All these security precautions had to be made for that jerk"
"Does he think this shows he cares?"
And more.
